The Basque Country (8 days/7 nights Guided) 13 - 20 September 2008

This trip is designed to give you a comprehensive vision of the Basque Country, a relatively unknown area of Spain that has some of the best scenery and the most marvellous cities in the whole of the peninsula, not to mention one of the finest cuisines in the world. The circuit combines both inland and beautiful coastal scenery, along with the fine cities of Vitoria, Pamplona, San Sebastián and Bilbao. Part of the route takes us along the Camino de Santiago (the Way of St James) as we cross for a brief incursion into France, before returning again to the Basque Coast. A trip not to be missed. White Villages (Andalusia) (8 days/7 nights Guided) 27 September - 4 October

A trip through the southernmost tip of Europe. Dazzling whitewashed villages set against an intense blue sky, olive groves stretching as far as the eye can see, flamenco, beautiful local architecture and narrow winding streets which speak of its Arab past, a benevolent climate, long and unspoilt beaches, tapas, friendly and hospitable people - just what you need for that perfect cycling holiday.

We begin in the mountains of Malaga behind the Mediterranean Costa del Sol, and then make our way eastwards to the Atlantic seaboard of the province of Cadiz and the aptly named Costa de la Luz - the Coast of Light. Catalonia and Costa Brava (8 days/7 nights Guided) 11-18 October 2008

Catalonia is a region of Spain with its own unique identity. It is home to some of the country's most varied scenery, ranging from the spectacular Pyrenees on the border with France, down through beautiful farmland and forests, to the rugged beauty of the Costa Brava. Here the pretty coastline contrasts with the clear waters and sheltered coves.

We will visit fine medieval towns and villages such as Girona and Pals, along with picturesque coastal villages such as Cadaqués, home to one of the most famous Spanish artists, Salvador Dalí, whose museum and gallery we will have the opportunity to visit in Figueres.

Cruise and Cycle tour from Mantova to Venice.

The itinerary winds its way along the Rivers Mincio and Po, through the Italian countryside, and ends in the Venetian Lagoon. You will pass through areas of reclaimed marshes, along natural canals, where you will see fishermen’s huts camouflaged in the reeds, and bridges formed of boats.

The tour is entirely on level ground and the daily cycling stages vary from 18 to 34 miles. Much of the pedaling is along rivers and canals on tarmac cycle paths or lanes with little traffic. It is envisaged that the boat will sail some of the way during breakfast or evening meal to make getting out of the towns easier or to shorten the stages. Departures will be every Saturday from March 28 th to October 24 th and will alternate - one week from Mantova and the following one from Venice.

The price will be £635 per person and this includes the bike hire. It will also be possible to charter the whole boat during the months of March and October.
